How information is handled.

This policy describes Headway AI's current private development setup. Updated 11 October 2026.

Information used

The assistant may process messages, receipt images, document contents and financial details supplied by its owner. Its Google connection currently has Drive access; this policy does not claim access to Gmail or Calendar.

Purpose and access

Information is used to support receipt intake, review and approved document storage. Google OAuth credentials and tokens enable access to the owner's Drive. They are held in the private local setup and are not published on this website.

Services involved

Depending on the selected workflow, content may pass through Telegram, OpenAI or Google Gemini for communication or AI processing, and Google Drive for storage. The configured AI fallback may send a request to Google Gemini when the primary OpenAI route fails. These services apply their own data policies.

Storage and deletion

The local setup retains conversation history, logs, receipt copies, working files and backups. Saved documents can remain in Google Drive. There is currently no verified automatic deletion schedule for these records. Session archiving does not necessarily delete the underlying history, and a successful Drive upload does not automatically delete its local source file. Records may remain until explicitly deleted or otherwise removed by applicable storage maintenance. A deletion request should specify the records and storage locations involved; backup copies must be considered separately. Third-party providers apply their own retention policies.

Withdrawing Google access

The owner can revoke the app's connection in Google Account third-party access settings. Revoking access prevents subsequent authorised access but does not itself delete files or previously retained records.

This website

These static pages contain no upload form, login, analytics scripts or tracking cookies added by the app. Cloudflare hosts this website and may process connection information such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the pages. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
